Why beermats?
Beermats was born out a couple of friends sitting round a table in the local after a hard days work, playing that flipping game that everyone knows with bunch of beer mats!
With their wealth of experience, love of beer and the craft of making it they deciding that opening their own brewery was an obvious step to take. The name of the brewery was easy and the rest as they say is history!
Fulfilled through our dedication to detail, the art of making beer and our passion for the end result we have grown into a brand we are proud of and want to share with you.

Session IPA back in stock!
Our handcrafted session IPA is all bottled up & back in stock! This IPA is brewed with a unique blend of malt and hops, giving it a citrusy, mango aroma & a full-bodied flavor. It’s the perfect beer to enjoy on a hot day (if we ever get one!) or after a long day of work. Order here or pickup direct from the brewery shop.
Brew 300 ready!
Brew 300 finally into casks & conditioned nicely ready to have a taster of! We think it’s tasting fantastic & super refreshing! Amarillo, El Dorado & Palisade hops combined with Norwegian Kveik yeast give flavours of orange, apricot & peaches with a nice fresh bitter finish. Get it while you can as once it’s gone, it’s gone!
Brew #300!
Brew 300 in earlier this week! 5 years (almost bar 3 weeks!) on & we have hit our 300th brew. It’s not been an easy road & the last few years have been tough as it has for everyone but we’re chuffed to still be here making beers for everyone to enjoy! This 300th brew is a hoppy 4.8% abv, blonde number made with all American hops & Voss Kviek Yeast which ferments at high temperatures to accentuate the orange, apricot & zesty flavours given from the El Dorado & Amarillo hops.
